The annual visit of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG - SVB) to see the well-being of War Heroes at ‘Abimansala - 3’, Kamburupitiya took place on Saturday (18 November).
The visit was organized under the supervision of Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU), and Chairperson, SLNG - SVB.
All the resident War Heroes were treated to a sumptuous lunch before sanitary items and electrical appliances to the value of some Rs. 50,000/= were gifted to this wellness resort.
In addition, 31 resident War Heroes received gift packs, each valued at Rs. 4,500/= organized by the SLNG - SVB. A thoughtful touch was then added to the day's proceedings with a musical event, aimed at fostering the mental well-being of the residents.
The participation of SLNG - SVB members, Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, and Officers further enriched the event, making it a memorable and impactful day for all involved.
