The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP - SVB) organized an event on Saturday (21 October) to coincide with the World Children's Day.
During the event, 90 children of the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB) in Rathmalana were gifted packs of essential items, containing food, medicines, and sanitary items.
This initiative was carried out under the guidance of Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa, the Chairperson of SLCMP -SVB, on the direction of Major General A.C.A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.
The event was concluded with a delightful lunch and an entertainment programme, bringing smiles to the faces of the children. The event was attended by members of SLCMP –SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks.
