SLAOC - SVB Does Charity Work for Children

The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC - SVB) organized several charity events to support children in need.

On 15 August 2023, a donation of dry rations, gift packs, and a delicious lunch for 28 children at the ‘Surasa’ Child Development Centre in Waththegama took place as per guidelines given by the Chairperson, SLAOC - SVB, Mrs. Banduni Magret Ranasin Ranawaka. Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps (SLAOC), the Centre Commandant, and the Commanding Officer of 4 SLAOC supervised the project.

The School of Ordnance in addition on account of its 32nd anniversary, distributed dry ration packs and refreshments to the children at ‘Sukitha Children’s Home’ in Galpatha on 21 September 2023.

This event aimed to support 80 children with different age groups who are mentally and physically susceptible.

Several Senior Officers, Officers, Lady Officers, and Other Ranks participated in this event.
