SLA - SVB Provides Aids & Essentials to Children with Special Needs

The Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch (SLA - SVB) with the objective providing incentives, aids and relief packs to children of SLA Army families with special needs recently conducted a programme to distribute five wheelchairs and packs of essentials and snacks to them at Panagoda SLA Regimental HQ, following arrangements, made by Mrs Chama Wanasinghe, Chairperson, SLA - SVB.

The CERTIS Lanka, Ceylon Biscuits Limited and Unilever Sri Lanka Limited generously sponsored those essentials at the request of the SLA-SVB. Mrs Chama Wanasinghe, Chairperson, SLA - SVB with members joined the distribution project, attended by Major General W.A.S.S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, SLA Colonel Commandant and Chief of Staff of the Army as a distinguished invitee.

SLA - SVB senior members, senior officers, officers, and other ranks joined the occasion.
