SLNG-SV During AGM Re-Awards ASVU-granted Schols to SLNG Children

The Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) plus the re-award of scholarship grants, gifted by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) at the Army HQ got underway, chaired by Mrs Janaki Liyanage at the SLNG Heraliyawatta camp in Kurunegala on 30th January 2022.

A new Executive Committee members was appointed for the coming year and the meeting also discussed projects that have been hitherto accomplished and needed to be completed in the coming year. Accordingly, Mrs Janaki Liyanage was reappointed unanimously as the Chairperson of the SLNG SVU.

They also further discussed the proposed housing project which will be commenced in the near future under the close supervision of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka National Guard.

After the main event, a set of deserving children of the Sri Lanka National Guard were re-awarded the scholarships granted by the ASVU after inviting those beneficiaries to the occasion.
