The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps- Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB) on account of the Children’s Day distributed 100 packs of essential school Items and accessories among the school going children of SLAGSC soldiers. It took place on Sunday (2) at the Regimental Center of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (SLAGSC) in Panagoda.
Mrs Ruvina Mettananda, Chairperson, SLAGSC-SVB, together with Major General Chanaka Mettananda,the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment, SLAGSC joined the distribution of those accessories.
A lecture on 'psychology' for participating school children was also delivered by Dr. Chaminda Weerisiriwardena during the same programme before the project culminated with a lunch to the participants.
Colonel Priyan Samaraweera, the Center Commandant of Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps along with the Officers, Other Ranks of the Regimental Center of SLAGSC attended the arrangements.
