The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB) organized a fair to ease economic burdens of soldiers and a book donation for 100 selected SLAGSC children of soldiers learning in Grades 01 - 05 on 23 December at the SLAGSC RHQ premises.
Under the guidance of the President of the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs Janaki Liyanage, the Chairperson, SLAGSC-SVB, Mrs Ruvina Mettananda organized the event with the support of other Seva Vanitha members, SLAGSC Officers and Other Ranks.
The donation was made with the intention of providing a relief to the SLAGSC families of those children.
The occasion was graced by the President of the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, Chairperson of SLAGSC Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Ruvina Mettananda, Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC Major General Chanaka Mettananda, Senior Officers and Ladies of Seva Vanitha Branch.
