The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB) organized a New Year Pola (fair) on Tuesday (11 April) at the Regiment HQ premises where Mrs Janaki Liyanage, Army Seva Vanitha Unit inaugurated it as the Chief Guest.
The New Year fair organized by the SLAGSC-SVB, together with the SLAGSC Battalion Commanding Officer and the staff included dairy products, vegetables, fruits, sweets, clothes, shoes, plants, etc which were sold at concessionary rate. Mrs. Ruvina Mettananda, Chairperson, SLAGSC-SVB welcomed the Chief Guest and ushered her to the location.
This programme was conducted under the supervision of the SLAGSC Colonel Commandant, Major General M.W.T.C Mettananda USP ndc with the support of troops.
Senior Officers of the Regiment, Seva Vanitha members and soldiers were present at the event.
