The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Unit (SLCMP-SVU) as one of their annual welfare projects gifted school accessories to children of SLCMP families and civil staffers on 27 December 2021 at Regimental Headquarters SLCMP, Polhengoda.
176 children received those relief packs and 10 more students during the event received school bags, stationery items and Buddha statues as special incentives.
This occasion was graced by Mrs Inoka Illangakoon, Chairperson, SLCMP-SVU with senior members, Officers, Other Ranks and civil workers.
Meanwhile, on the same day (27), those ladies paid a visit to the Apeksha Hospital at Maharagama and donated Rs. 150,000.00 worth medical aids with financial support, provided by the 2 SLCMP.
