With the sponsorship provided by the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Gannoruwa, gift packs, inclusive of essentials such as Rice , Dhal, canned fish, Soya Meat packs , Big Onions , Sugar , Tea, Dry Fish, Potatoes to the value of Rs.10,000/- each were distributed among family members of fallen war heroes by the Secretary of the SLEME Seva Vanitha Branch (SLEME-SVB), Mrs Samanthi Gunasinghe along with other executive members of the Seva Vanitha Branch.
The Chairperson, Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers- SVB, Mrs. Nandani Samarakoone, also joined the distribution of those packs on 08th December 2022 at the premises.
This event was organized in parallel with the 73rd SLEME Anniversary. Major General Indu Samarakoone , the Logistic Commander and the Center Commandant of the SLEME along with other Senior Officers , Officers and the Other Ranks participated in the distribution project.
