The Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAOC-SVB), together with 2 SLAOC troops organized their monthly programme at 'Sathuta' Children’s Home, Saliyapura, Anuradhapura, on Sunday (Feb 12) spending the day with the orphaned children.
Prior to the event, troops cleaned the premises for 2-3 days. 28 children residing at the children's home received gifts and a delicious lunch before they joined an entertaining musical event with the 'Pearl Rickshaw' Calypso team.
This was conducted under the guidance of Mrs Banduni Ranawaka, Chairperson, SLAOC-SVB and Senior Officers, Officers, members of SLAOC-SVB. Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
