54 Children of Army Families at Clothing Depot Awarded School Incentives

A group of 54 children, belonging to families of All Ranks serving the Army Clothing Depot at Weyangoda were the recipients of school accessories and uniform materials, thanks to the patronage, extended by the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps Seva Vanitha Branch.

The distribution of those incentives got underway on Wednesday (8 March 2023) after inviting those 54 children of the staff to the Army Clothing Depot. This event was staged under the close supervision of the Commandant at the Army Clothing Depot, Lieutenant Colonel R.A.C Rupasinghe.

Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps extended his blessings to the project. Commandant and Deputy Commandant Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Factory, Mrs R. A. C Rupasinghe, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were among those who participated in the distribution ceremony.
