The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC- SVB) in coordination with the Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training conducted the NVQ certificate course and awarded its certificates to 14 soldiers who succesfully completed it.
On 17 September at the SLASC Regimental Headquarter premises Panagoda, the simple awarding ceremony saw more than 30 dry ration packs were distributed among selected soldiers and civil employees.
The programme, organized by the Commanding Officer, All Ranks of 6 SLASC, and the Chairperson, Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Thushari Wanigasekara, Mr. W.M.R.B Weerasekara, Director General, Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training, Advisor Mrs Manori Rodrigo and several invitees graced the occasion as distibguished guests.
