SLSC-SVU Bids Farewell to Former Chairperson

The Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Unit (SLSC-SVU) organized a simple farewell ceremony for the outgoing Chairperson of SLSC-SVU Mrs. Sajeewani Peiris on 12 June 2022. This farewell was held during a simple ceremony at the Regimental Officers’ Mess of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

Later on, Mrs. Shashika Herath, the incoming Chairperson of the SLSC-SVU welcomed the former chairperson Mrs. Sajeewani Peiris and emphasized the invaluable service, rendered by Mrs. Sajeewani Peiris to uplift the welfare of injured and families of deceased war heroes in the Corps and extended best wishes to the outgoing Chairperson and her loving family for their future endeavors.

Mrs Sajeewani Peiris thanked Mrs Shashika Herath, new Chairperson of the SLSC-SVU for her wishes and compliments and the staff of the SLSC- SVU and recalled the cooperation and the encouragement she received from all Seva Vanitha members with gratitude while highly appreciating those gestures.
