The Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC - SVB), organized a blood donation campaign on Wednesday (Feb 08) at SLSC Regimental Center, Panagoda in collaboration with the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital in order to replenish most vital blood stocks at the hospital.
The project was initiated by Mrs Shashika Herath, Chairperson, SLSC - SVB under the guidance of Mrs Janaki Liyange, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit. More than 100 Army personnel willingly offered blood during the project. Doctors, and medical teams from the Blood Bank at Apeksha Hospital assisted in making the event a success.
