SLSC-SVB Holds its Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC-SVB) for the year 2023 got underway on 20 May 2023 at the SLSC Regimental HQ Officers’ Mess.

The lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chairperson, SLSC-SVB Mrs Nalini Ratnayake, Executive Committee and other senior members marked the commencement of the day's proceedings. A two-minute silence was observed to commemorate War Heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.

Afterwards, the Chairperson addressed the audience and highlighted the vision and objectives of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch and shared her views mentioning that the members of the branch should join together to help uplift the welfare of the soldiers and their families by empowering Army wives. Finally, the Secretary delivered the vote of thanks concluding the day’s proceedings.
