The Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (VIR-SVB) recently provided a financial grant of Rs. 100,000/= for a fellow VIR, Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) for completion of his partially-built house on Friday (Feb 17) during a brief event at the VIR Regimental Headquarters, Kurunegala the in the presence of Mrs Nadeera Wijekoon, Chairperson, VIR-SVB.
The patronage was offered by the VIR-SVB after a request to this effect was made by the NCO. Senior members of the VIR-SVB, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the simple event.
