The Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Unit (SLSR-SVU), Mrs Omila Jayawardena with Seva Vanitha members paid a visit to the ‘Abhimansala-1’ wellness resort in Anuradhapura on 26 November 2022 with the intention of looking into the well-being of differently able War Heroes residing at this wellness resort.
At this occasion, SLSR-SVU ladies distributed gift parcels and essential sanitary equipment among 25 differently able War Heroes and joined a table of refreshments. In addition, 10 towel racks along with 10 Emergency LED electric bulbs were donated for the usage of ‘Abhimansala -1’ residents at the same occasion. Music provided by a Calypso Group as dusk fell entertained those differently able War Heroes.
The Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Regimental HQ and the Commanding Officer of the Regimental Headquarter Battalion, Officers and the 15 Senior members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment joined the visit.
