Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment - Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSR-SVB) ladies conducted a visit to the Army Seva Vanitha Unit-managed Ward 05 at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Mulleriyawa on Saturday (June 17) under the guidance of Mrs Omila Jayawardena, Chairperson of the SLSR-SVB.
During the visit, packs of essential items were distributed among 35 residents in the ward and an electric kettle was also gifted to the ward by the SLSR-SVB. Further, a delicious tea and a lunch were offered to the residents before they were entertained by a musical session with the SLSR calypso band.
Senior members of SLSR-SVB, Officers and Other Ranks took part in the event.
