As one more civil community - oriented project of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch, (SLSR SVB), a group of SVB ladies led by Mrs Omila Jayawardena, Chairperson, SLSR SVB visited the ‘Sandella’ Elders’ Home at Danowita, Ambepussa on 22 December 2022.
During the visit, they distributed 33 gift packs of essential sanitary items and other commodities for the use of 33 adults, resident there. In addition, Seva Vanitha ladies provided breakfast and lunch to them. Similarly, a music group entertained those residents.
Brigadier M.P.N.A Muthumala, Centre Commandant, Regimental Centre SLSR, Lieutenant Colonel L.M.K.S Gnanaratna, Commanding Officer, HQ Battalion and several others joined the occasion.
