Members of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI - SVB) on a suggestion made by Mrs. Dhanusha Weerasooriya, Chairperson, SLLI SVB visited the ‘Abimansala 3’ Wellness Centre in Pangolla and inquired about the well-being of differently able war heroes under recuperation on Thursday (29 June).
During the visit, members of SLLI - SVB had a cordial interaction with the War Heroes and inquired about their family matters and the progress of the recuperation process.
After a while, SLLI - SVB members presented gift packs to all the War Heroes and joined with them for tea. A calypso music band entertained the resident War Heroes.
The members of SLLI - SVB, Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre, Officers and other ranks were associated with the visit.
