The new Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Seva Vanitha Branch (SLLI-SVB), Mrs. Uthpala Hettiarachchi took over duties on Friday (14 July) during a simple ceremony at the SLLI Regimental Headquarters amid religious blessings, warm greetings and best wishes.
She succeeded Mrs. Danusha Weerasuriya, the spouse of former Colonel of the Regiment, SLLI.
Several SLLI senior members, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the day’s event.
