The Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vaniha Branch (SLE-SVB) recently donated a stock of dry ration packs and gifts including stationery items to the orphaned children at “Mavupiyasewana” Child Development Center at Mattegoda. Those children were also served with a delicious lunch and the Calypso band of the Sri Lanka Engineers made the event more colourful with their entertaining music.
The Chairperson, SLE-SVB, Mrs Mallika Wijayasundara and members of Seva Vanitha Branch participated in the event distributing lunch and gift items. The donations were sponsored by Mr. Nuwan Sanjeewa, Mr. Dhanuka Wijesekara and Captain Lahiru Rathnayaka. The Commanding Officer & Soldiers of 1 Field Engineer Regiment arranged the event.
