The Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE-SVB) extended its assistance to the needy in Embilipitiya Elders' Home on account of Sinhala and Tamil New Year on 13 April, hours before the New Year day. Dry rations and a sumptuous dinner were offered to the elderly women at Kusuma Elderly Home under the guidance of Mrs Shammi Jayawardena, Chairperson, SLE-SVB in the company of several Seva Vanitha ladies.
The event was attended by Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, members of the SLE Seva Vanitha Branch and Senior Officers of the General Engineer Brigade, SLSME and 15 (V) SLE.
