The Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch (SLE - SVB) and Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAWC - SVB) joined hands together to organize a book donation programme for 230 children of serving civil staff families of the SLE and the SLAWC to coincide with the 7th edition of the “Ata-Hitha 2022” island-wide project on Tuesday (Dec 13) at Mattegoda SLE camp auditorium.
This was made possible with the sponsorship granted by Mr Prasad Lokubalasooriya, the chief patron of “Ata-Hitha 2022” series, together with Mr Chintaka Abeysekara, Mr Dani Perera, Mrs Subhoda Seth Hewage, Mr Ushan Muditha Gunawickrama, Mrs Charini Nanayakkara and Mr Malika Roshan Rodrigo, members of the project.
The event was graced by Mrs Shammi Jayawardena, Chairperson of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch and Major General M.K Jayawardena Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers as chief guests. Mr Prasad Lokubalasooriya and his team, officers, other ranks and beneficiaries took part in the event.
