The 15th Chairperson of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Unit (SLE-SVU), Mrs Mallika Wijayasundara assumed office during a simple ceremony, held at the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Headquarters on 02 July 2022.
She was warmly welcomed by the senior Seva Vanitha members upon her arrival at the Headquarters. She assumed her duties at the Seva Vanitha Office amidst chanting of 'Seth Pirith' by members of the Maha Sangha. After assuming office, all members greeted the new chairperson extending their warm wishes.
The new Chairperson subsequently shared her thoughts on future plans for the well-being of War Heroes of the Corps.
Brigadier Manoj Madurapperuma, Centre Commandant, Staff Officers of the Regimental Headquarters and members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Engineers Corps attended the inauguration.
