The Mechanized Infantry Regiment - Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) conducted its annual visit to Pangolla ‘Abhimansala’ Wellness Resort on Saturday (21) in order to inquire into the well-being of resident War Heroes.
The project was launched on the guidelines given by Major General Deepal Pussella, Commander, Security Forces - West and Colonel of the Regiment, MIR. Mrs Himali Pussella, Chairperson, Mechanized Infantry Regiment - Seva Vanitha Branch graced the event as the Chief Guest.
During the visit, MIR-SVB ladies gifted essentials to each resident War Hero and few more special gifts to the ‘Abhimansala’ management.
MIR-SVB members, the Centre Commandant Brigadier Anura Abeysinghe along with other Senior Officers, Staff Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
A musical session plus refreshments brought the programme to an end.
