To coincide with the World Children’s Day, the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) Seva Vanitha Branch and Seva Vanitha ladies gave away gift parcels to some 250 children of SLSR families They received those valuable gift parcels from the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Mrs Omila Jayawardena during a ceremony, held at the SLSR Regimental Center in Ambepussa on 15th October.
With the intention of entertaining the children, this special event consisted of fun-making events and several competitive features, in which the achievers were awarded.
Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala, the Center Commandant of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Senior Officers, members of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, parents of the children of SLSR members attended the occasion.
