Children in MIR Families Get School Incentives

The Mechanized Infantry Regiment - Seva Vanitha Unit (MIR-SVU), appreciating achievements of children of MIR families who did well in the Grade 5 scholarship examination gave away school books and accessories, required for studies in the Grade 6 during a recent ceremony, held at MIR Regimental Centre.

Mrs Danusha Weerasuriya, Chairperson, MIR-SVU as the Chief Guest attended the distribution ceremony, together with several Seva Vanitha members and gave away those gift parcels. 16 children of MIR families were the beneficiaries.
