As per guidelines given by Mrs Himali Pussella, Chairperson, Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR - SVB), essential school accessories were distributed among the school children during 15th MIR - SVB Annual General Meeting on Saturday (25 March) at the Officers' Mess Complex in the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre at Dambuluhalmillewa.
48 children belonging to civil employees and Army members of the Regiment were the recipients of school accessories in the project.
In addition, all the participants including Senior Members/ Members of the MIR - SVU were awarded gift packs at the same location. Mrs. Dulka Herath, Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Swarnamali Ekanayaka, Secretary and all the senior members and members of the MIR Seva Vanitha Branch participated in the project.
