SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN'S CORPS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH MADE ANOTHER HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION

Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanitha Branch was organized a special programme for 34 female patients who is undergoing residential treatment and its staff at Ward No. 05 of the National Institute of Mental Health, Mulleriyawe on Tuesday 26th September 2023 under the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, President of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanitha Branch. the President deeply looked into the well-being of the women patients who is undergoing treatment and its staff at the hospital. Further, SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch arranged a special musical program and offered evening tea for them.

Moreover, under the guidance and instructions of the Major General Darshana Wijesekera and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps and Commander Security Forces headquarters -WEST, the water tank belongs to the hospital and damaged places of the ward were renovated with the contribution of the soldiers of Engineer Services Regiment.

During the later part of the programme a stock of gift parcels consisted with basic needs was donated by the President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch to the ward and patients.
