SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN’S CORPS ORGANIZED A ICE CREAM DANSALA TO COMMEMORATE THE POSON FULL MOON POYA DAY

1st Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps together with the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch organized first ever Ice Cream Dansala on 03 June 2023 in order to commemorate the Poson Full Moon Poya Day Infront of the Regimental Centre - Borella.

This Project was organized under the guidance and direction given by the Major General Drashana Wijesekera Commander Security Forces Mullaitivu and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch with prime organizational capabilities of Major Kalpani Fernando the Commanding Officer and All Ranks of 1SLAWC along with the contribution of All Ranks of Regimental Centre and all members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.

Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, Centre Commandant and all ranks of the RC SLAWC, members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch along with Commanding Officer and all ranks of 1SLAWC also participated for this moment.
