BOOK DONATION PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN OF CIVIL STAFF OF CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS AND SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN’S CORPS

As a gesture of goodwill and charity, the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineers organized a book donation programme for the 230 children of serving civil staff of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps in line with the “ATHAHITHA 2022 - Seventh Edition” all island programme on 13th December 2022 with the participation of a cross section of selected children along with their parents.

Honorary sponsorship for the event was granted by Mrs. Prasad Lokubalasooriya, the chief organizer of “ATHAHITHA 2022” series, Mr.Chintaka Abeysekara, Mr.Dani Perera, Mr.Subhoda seth Hewage, Mr.Ushan Muditha Gunawickrma, Mrs.Charini Nanayakkara and Mr.Malika Roshan Rodrigo the members of the programme.

The event was held under the patronage of Mrs. Shammi Jayawardena, the President of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General MK Jayawardena RSP USP ndu. Awarding of Stationary items were carried out by the President and the guest of honors.
