08 recruit soldiers from SLAWC selected for the basic swimming course after an interview with the aim of taking part in the Defense Services Swimming Championship to be held on August 2020.
With the guidance and assistance of the Master General Ordnance, The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Aquatic Sports Committee Major General Prasanna Chandrasekare ndu they have successfully completed the course and they have started training for the upcoming Defense Services Swimming Championship.
