Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) hosted a dinner, to bid farewell to Major General R K B S Katekumbura RSP, the outgoing Centre Commandant of SLAWC 05 of July 2019 at the ‘Salute’ Reception Hall of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. Major General M Mudannayake RSP USP, Colonel Commandant of SLAWC, graced the occasion with his presence and presented a memento to Major General R K B S Katekumbura RSP as a token of appreciation for his yeoman service rendered to SLAWC.
To convey their heartfelt gratitude for the distinguished service rendered by the outgoing Centre Commandant, the officers and other ranks of the Regimental Centre, SLAWC, arranged a tea party on 10 July 2019 at the Regimental Centre.
