4th battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps celebrated 20th anniversary on 10th February 2019, participation of Commanding Officer Major C S Yapa RSP MIC. After religious observances, the Guard of Honour and parade took place. All rank lunch was held accordingly.

The officers training day was held from 0600 hours onwards on 14th Octomber 2016 at the Regimental Centre - Borella with the participation of more than 50 officers. The programme was aligned with set of activities.

Sri lanka army woman's corps celebrated their 19th anniversary on 18th of November 2016. Starting from a prideful Guardturnout and Ceremonial Parade. After the parade marking the anniversary day there was a all rank tea party.

Brigadier KMDAA De Silva USP assumed duties on 20th September 2017 at Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps as the 14th Centre Commandant of the Regiment. Middle of the blessings of Buddha he took over the duties. After receiving guard of honour he addressed the gathering at the all rank tea party.

The colours awarding ceremony for the year 2016 of Sri Lanka Army Women\'s Corps was held proudly at the auditorium of SLAC. The Colonel Commandant of SLAWC Maj Gen R Ratnasingham graced the occasion as the chief guest and Commandant of the DGGS Col SP Wijesooriya RWP RSP SLLI participated in the event. Officers and other rankers were awarded colours for their outstanding performances in sports at unit level, army level and defence level.Among 300 colour 164 were able to gain colours for 32 different sports events on the day.
