The Officers and Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, arranged a series of events to convey their heartiest gratitude for the distinguished service rendered by the Outgoing Colonel Commandant Major General Prasanna Ranawaka RWP RSP USP ndc on 06th October 2022 at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. The ceremonial formalities were commenced with a Guard Turnout, Guard of Honor, All Ranks Tea, Troop Address and Farewell Dinner.
The Centre Commandant of SLAWC Brigadier Chaminda Thibbotuge along with Regimental Sergeant Major Ms APN Madumali presented a memento to the outgoing Colonel Commandant as an appreciation of the valuable service rendered to the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps during the troop address.
Further Brigadier Chaminda Thibbotuge , the Centre Commandant of SLAWC on behalf of All the Officers of SLAWC presented a memento to Major General Prasanna Ranawaka RWP RSP USP ndc as a token of appreciation for his yeoman’s service rendered to SLAWC during the farewell dinner.
And also, Mrs Ashika Thibbotuge, the Vice President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Unit presented the special memento to Mrs Apsara Ranawaka on behalf of all the members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Unit, in order to convey heart-full gratitude for the service rendered as the President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Unit.
