The Officers and Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps arranged a series event to convey their hearties gratitude for the distinguished service rendered by the Outgoing Colonel Commandant Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP USP ndu on 05th December 2022 at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps. The ceremonial formalities were commenced with a All-Ranks Tea and Troop Address.
The Centre Commandant of SLAWC Brigadier Chaminda Thibbotuge presented a memento to the outgoing colonel commandant as an appreciation of the valuable service rendered to the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps during the troop address.
And also, Maj Rashmi Galehena, the Commanding Officer of 1st Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps presented the special gift to Mrs Shammi Jayawardena behalf of all the members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch in order to convey heart-full gratitude for the service rendered as the president of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.
