Under the guidance of Maj Gen UD Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc Commander Security Force Headquarters, Mulativ and the Colonel Commandant of SLAWC and Mrs. Shayamali Wijesekera Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps presented special Christmas gifts for the children at Don Bosco Sevana at Ja- Ela on 20 December 2022 in coordination with Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Branch. The financial contribution for the project was extended by the “Sweshini” welfare in the United Kingdom with the coordination of Mr. Ravi Rajapaksha.
A musical program was also held here with Santa Claus for the entertainment of the children and Mrs. Ashika Thibbotuge, Vice President of Seva Vanitha Branch and Major Rashmi Galhena, Commanding Officer of 1 SLAWC along with members of the Seva Vanitha branch participated in this program.
