SLAWC- SVB DISTRIBUTED DRY RATION PACKS AND BASIC NEEDS FOR THE PREGNANT FEMALE SOLDIERS OF RC SLAWC & 1SLAWC

Distribution of essential basic needs including baby items and dry ration packs to pregnant female soldiers performing duties in the regimental Centre and 1st battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps was conducted under the concept and guidance of the Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch on the 02nd May 2024 at the Regimental Centre Borella. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch as the chief guest. Mrs. Idunil Jayakody Vice President, SLAWC Seva Vanita branch warmly welcomed the day’s chief guest and invited her to distribute gifts packs and ration packs for pregnant female soldiers.

This event was organized by SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, with the contribution of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch along with SLAWC-SVB. Gift packs with essential items worth 8000 rupees were distributed to the 16 pregnant women soldiers working under the RC SLAWC and 1SLAWC.

Brigadier Rohan Jayakody Centre Commandant of SLAWC, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
