SLAWC- SVB DISTRIBUTED DRY RATION PACKS AND BASIC NEEDS FOR THE PREGNANT FEMALE SOLDIERS OF 2(V)SLAWC

Distribution of essential basic needs including baby items and dry ration packs to pregnant female soldiers performing duties in the 2nd volunteer battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps was conducted under the concept and guidance of the Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch on the 15th May 2024 at the 2(v)SLAWC – Madawachchya.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch as the chief guest. Maj SGM Premathilake SLAWC Commanding officer 2(v)SLAWC warmly welcomed the day’s chief guest and invited her to distribute gifts packs and ration packs for 16 pregnant women soldiers. Other Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were present at the occasion. On that day, Medavachchiya Regional Hospital Public Health Nursing Officer Oshani Arachchige conducted a valuable lecture for all ranks of this unit.
