SLAWC-SVB ALONG WITH 3(V)SLAWC CONDUCTED ANOTHER CHARITY PROGRAMME FOR PREGNANT FEMALE SOLDIERS

Distribution of essential basic needs including baby items and dry ration packs to pregnant female soldiers performing duties in the 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps was conducted under the concept and guidance of the Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch on the 16 May 2024 at the 3(V)SLAWC – Sandunpura. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch as the chief guest. Maj HHH De Silva SLAWC, Commanding Officer warmly welcomed the day’s chief guest and invited her to distribute gifts packs and ration packs for pregnant female soldiers.

This event was organized by 3(v)SLAWC, under the supervision of Maj Harshi De Silva Commanding Officer with the contribution of all ranks of the battalion. Further, there was an awareness programme conducted regarding ‘Happy Married Life & Women’s Health Issues’ for all ranks of 3(v) SLAWC.
