Under the guidance of Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, President of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, through the personal donation of Mr. Jagath Pushpakumara, 23 spectacles were donated to the civil staff working under the regimental center and other SLAWC battalions on 1st April 2023 at RC SLAWC premises.
The donation was made to celebrate the birthday of Miss. Surangi Priyangika, the beloved wife of Mr. Jagath Pushpakumara. The occasion was graced by the president of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Shyamali Wijesekera along with all members of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, the Centre Commandant SLAWC with all officers and other ranks and the Commanding Officer and the troops of 1SLAWC.
