SLAWC SEVA VANITHA BRANCH LAUNGHED ANOTHER CHARITY PROGRAMME

Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch made another humanitarian intervention by extending a helping hand to the 200 children of Chemmaley Tamil School and Kokilai Sinhala College at Mullative on 28th February 2023 by distributing necessary school accessories. During this kind of hearted project, they distributed necessary school items for these children to overcome hardships in their life. This project was launched with the Co-sponsorships of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha branch and sponsorship from past Royalist at the Colombo Royal College and together with a group of scholars from the University of Sri Jayawardanapura.

The occasion was graced by Maj Gen UD Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc - Commander Security Forces (Mullative) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps along with the President of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera.

Further by representing past Royalist at Royal College and University of Sri Jayawardenepura Mr. Prasad Lokubalasuriya participated for the event. Under the Supervision of Security Forces Headquarters Mullative 59 Division and 593 Brigade organized the event.
