SLAWC SEVA VANITHA BRANCH AND RC SLAWC ORGANIZED A SPECIAL CHILDREN’S DAY PROGRAMME

The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch along with Regimental Centre was organized a special Children’s day programme to celebrate the World Children’s Day for 154 students of Nahinna Kanishta Vidyalaya - Kaluthara on Monday 02 October 2023 under the guidance and instructions of Maj Gen U.D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Commander Security Forces Headquarters- West and Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera the President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch .

Further Seva Vanitha Branch arranged a special musical programme with various entertainment activities in the view of enhancing leaderships skills, corporation and good values among the students who is going to take over the motherland in future day context. Furthermore, Seva Vanitha Branch offered a morning tea as well as lunch for all the students and teachers of the school. During the later part of the programme gifts packs consisted with essential stationary items was donated by the Colonel Commandant and the President SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch for 154 students.

This programme was coordinated and carried out with the support of SFHQ (West), 612 Brigade, 9 GW and 1SLAPC. Moreover, a pack of model paper books of targeted questions for grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2023 to the children of officers and other ranks working under the Regimental Center who supposed to appear for the examination under the concept and contribution of Colonel Commandant SLAWC.
