RC SLAWC INAUGURATES ITS NEWLY CONSTRUCTED GYMNASIUM

Under the guidance and concept of Major General Prasanna Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, Commander Security Forces (East) and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (RC SLAWC) inaugurated the newly constructed Gymnasium on Saturday (02 March) 2024.

The newly constructed Gymnasium was declared open by the Colonel Commandant together with Centre Commandant and senior officers, officers of RC SLAWC in a brief ceremony. Further, the Colonel Commandant together with other senior officers, officers had a close view of the entire perimeter of the Gymnasium.

Following the event the Colonel Commandant of the SLAWC awarded the cash prizes for the exceptional achievements of SLAWC Sportswomen performed in varies sports events in national and international level. During the ceremony a total of 27 SLAWC sportswomen were awarded cash prizes which was given by the Directorate of Sport Sri Lanka army.

All senior officers, officers along with ORs of RC SLAWC participated in the event.
