One day workshop regarding Apiculture was conducted for Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps officers and soldiers at the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Training School – Kaluaggala on 23 June 2020 under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Master General Ordnance (MGO) Major General Prasanna Chandrasekere and the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Brigadier Janaka Rathnayake.
The programme was conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture under the supervision of two advisors according to a concept of the Ministry of Defense with the aim of imparting basic knowledge and training on Apiculture.
03 Lady Officers and 19 Other Ranks were participated for the course.
