THE ONE-DAY WORKSHOP ORGANIZED BY SRI LANKA ARMY WOMEN'S CORPS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH AND REGIMENTAL CENTER WAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED.

A one-day workshop organized by the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch was held on 23 August 2023 at the RC SLAWC – Borella with the participation of all officers and other ranks of regimental Centre and 1SLAWC. The programme was conducted under the guidance and instructions of Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps and Commander Security Forces Headquarters – WEST, Major General UD Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc, and Mrs. Shyamali Wijesekera, the President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch.

The day’s proceedings commenced with a fruitful lecture by Deshabandu Dr Pabilis Silva, Director-Culinary Affairs and Promotion of Mount Lavinia Hotel.

A Famous Cake designer Mrs. Nimako De Silva, who is the secretary of Deshabandu Dr. Pabilis Silva, conducted a lecture as the second session of the program, with practical activities including very important methods about cake design and decorations with the creative contribution of her son. Soon After the lunch Mr. Suminda Perera, the owner of 2nd Chance flowers, delivered a special lecture on “how to arrange a creative flower decoration for varies functions” with practical and theories.

Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch Centre Commandant and Vice President of SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch along with all Grade I Officers of RC SLAWC also participated for the workshop.
