Under the guidance of Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, President of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanita Branch (SLAWC - SVB) with the supervision of Maj HHH De Silva SLAWC the Commanding Officer of 3(v)SLAWC , a new library was opened for the members of the 3rd Volunteer Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps – Sandunpura. The new library was opened on the 16th of June 2024 by the President of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanita branch who participated as the Chief Guest in the opening ceremony of the new library.
On this occasion, Mrs. Udula Kasthurimudali, the President of SLAWC-SVB who addressed all ranks, emphasized the importance of increasing knowledge through reading books. Marking the occasion of the opening of the new library, the President of Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps Seva Vanitha branch also donated very valuable books to the library.
