Major General C M D P Chandrasekere ndu, assumed office as the 18th Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps on 26 February 2020 and he was awarded a ceremonial guard turnout at the HQ 1SLAWC.
The newly appointed Colonel Commandant took over duties at the auspicious time amidst religious blessings. Newly appointed Colonel Commandant attended the all rank tea followed by troop address.
